Ed Macdonald has written and produced many hours of television. He appeared in a TV sketch series in the late 90's called The Bette Show. Since then, he has turned up in episodes of Trailer Park Boys, Made in Canada (The Industry), Lexx, Hatching Matching and Dispatching and The Jon Dore Television Show, which he also produced. He has worked with actors as varied as Ellen Page, Leslie Nielsen, Adam Beach and Keifer Sutherland.

Oh, it was the 90's all right. Bette MacDonald, Tim Steeves and Ed Macdonald in CBC's The Bette Show. No one expected to find any of it on YouTube. The airing of the first six episodes coincided with a strike at the network.
